The Wycombe Constituency Labour Party

For the many, not the few.

The Wycombe Labour Party is an active team made up by our members and local Labour Councillors. We have monthly CLP meetings which are open to all Labour Party members within the Wycombe Constituency. Here, we discuss both local and national news. These meetings are a great chance to have your say on these issues, as well as learn more about the area and the Labour party as a whole. We encourage all members to attend meetings as often as they can, to make the most of membership, and take the opportunity to have their say in shaping our policy. The details of our meetings are sent out to members via e-mail. Aside from our formal meetings, we also run regular campaigning events and socials, that range from street stalls in the town centre and door-knocking, to countryside walks and pub quizzes.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like anymore information about what we do.

FAQ

Q: I have a problem I'd like to report concerning the local area. Who should I get in contact with?

The best place to start is to get in touch with you local Councillor through phone or e-mail, a list of which you can find here. Your local ward Councillor may be from a different party. If you still need help and support after contacting your local Councillor, we are happy to lend a listening ear and see what we are able to do through our community volunteer work. Get in touch with us via our contact form.

Q: I'm a member and want to get more involved. Where do I start?

We always welcome members, both old and new, to be as engaged in the party as they are able to be. There are lots of different ways to get involved, from attending meetings, volunteering, attending socials or even standing as a Labour candidate in the local area. The best place to start would be to attend our monthly meetings to find out what we're up to and what you'd like to get involved with. If you need tailored assistance, we have a number of Officers who would be happy to help, including a Youth Officer, Women's Officers and a BAME Officer.

Q: I have an idea for the local area. How can I be heard?

We would be delighted to hear what your ideas are and work together with you to implement them. Get in touch via the contact page.

Q: I'm thinking about joining the party but am not sure what it entails.

Great! We'd love to have you on board. Your membership is what you make of it, and you can do as little or as much as you'd like. Feel free to get in touch with us for tailored details of what you can do, or take a look at the National Party's page "Why Join Labour?".
